Q & A

The Evel Knievel Heroes Kurve Balance Bike by KiddiMoto is the perfect first bike for toddlers offering both curved styling with rugged construction. The collection celebrates the champions of the past 50 years with the Heroes range of ride ons for toddlers. These stunning bikes come complete with the rider's signature reproduced on the tank.

The Evel Knievel wooden balance bike boasts eye-catching, curved styling and a great painted stars and stripes design that little ones will love. Designed in Britain and made from birch plywood, this cool looking balance bike is suitable for 3 to 6 years-olds.

The balance bike has an upright riding position like ordinary bikes and you can adjust the seat height. With no stabilisers or pedals, children initially push themselves along with their feet and develop to riding with both feet off the ground. The steering lock restricts turn to just 30 degrees preventing the bike from ever jackknifing, meeting all safety standards. By the time they have outgrown the Kurve they should be prepared to ride a larger bicycle without any training wheels!

It is never too early to teach your little one about the great British heroes of the motorbiking world.

About Evel Knievel:

Evel Knievel was a world famous daredevil who made his name attempting elaborate motorcycling stunts.

Born in Montana in 1938, Knievel had a varied career that included stints as a miner, semi-pro ice hockey player and in the U.S. Army. He finally found his calling when he organised an event in Moses Lake, Washington, where he jumped over a box of rattlesnakes and two mountain lions on his Honda 305cc Scrambler.

He quickly became popular, his stunts becoming more ambitious as television audiences grew. He suffered near-fatal injuries attempting to jump the fountains outside the Caesar’s Palace hotel in Las Vegas, but recovered to perform jumps at Snake River Canyon and Wembley Stadium. He died in 2007 at the age of 69, but his legend lives on and his place in the Kiddimoto range of Heroes is assured.
